You cant hardly go wrong with anything from these guys . The Infidels were from Ohio. Their first single was a song called 'MadAbout That Girl', a great pop tune. In 1986 french label GMG released a6-song mini LP called 'Mad About That Girl'. Also that year the band hada 4-song EP released on Ohio based Scream Records, called 'The Infidelsx 4'. In 1988 they released their first album, called '9:25 And SevenSeconds', also on Scream. It contained 10 original songs plus a cover ofthe Easybeats' 'Sorry'. A great album, one of the true highlights thatyear. .

Thanks for this. Never heard of this group but they are absolutely killer late 80's power pop. Love the blog, especially the power pop stuff and in addition especially how you pay attention to the Detroit/Cleveland protopunk scenes.
