Tweed were a French three piece that seems to have expanded to five later on. Anyway, They were around from 1978 to 1990, and released at least three singles in that span. Other than that, I couldn't find much on them. I found this MYSPACE that yielded little info, but it has a couple of Tweed tracks for sale I've never heard before. This record is a real Pop classic, Enjoy !! ***NOTE*** I just re uploaded this File, I realized I had the song order wrong, and once again I wasn't happy with the sound. Maybe one day I'll figure this stuff out..

Tweed is essential obscure powerpop! All three songs are fucking great! I first heard them on one of the Powerpearls comps. It sounds like they're singing the songs in half French and Half English.

I always thought this sounded like a mix of French and English too.It's hard to tell though. I never owned or heard the other two singles. Until today, when I started researching them, I wasn't even aware they were out that long.Thanks for the comments !
Hi There ! Funny to read about it ! I knew the band from the start but joined Tweed, as guitar player, from 1985 to 1990. We released 2 singles, one on Tonic records (DIY), the second on Off The Tacks/Polydor, then the band splitted !!! I'm now still playin' & singin' with BBC's bassist, Christophe, and Vince on drums. Our band is BBC ! Cheers !!!
