Scarlet Party formed in Essex, England, in the early 1980s as a three piece. The original lineup was: Graham Dye,(Vocals, and Guitar) Steven Dye, (Bass, and Vocals) and Sean Heaphy (Drums). Eventually a fourth member, Mark Gilmour, joined on lead Guitar. In all the band released two singles, this being the first. An Lp was recorded, but was never officially released. Lineup changes, and being disheartened with EMI, led to The Scarlet Parties end in 1985.Here's a link for Their Website.

strange - the scarlet party site doesn't seem to want to work for me!
The Dye brothers were the main body of the earlier band "Apostrophe" who released 2 45's in 1978 on the German Bellaphon label

It Didn't work for me either; I thought it was just me. Thanks for the info, and the comment Bruce.

Thanks a lot for this pop gem. The A Side is fantastic.
I wonder if their second single is worth it.
Never seen/heard it anywhere.
