The
Moondogs are a Irish three piece who formed in 1978. They have four singles this being the fourth, it was produced by Ray Davies. They also have 2
LP's to their credit. Their album, "That’s What Friends are For" was produced by Todd
Rundrent, and released in 1981 on Sire Records.(Germany only). A few months later The
Moondogs hung it up. If you can believe it, the story goes the band didn't even know the LP was released until 1985. Sometime around 2000 they decided to reform and in 2003 released their second
lp Red Fish, which you can buy
HERE . Also in 2003,
Detour Records released a disk of their John Peel sessions which I believe is out of print. All of their records are great and totally worth posting, I just happen to pick this one out of the box. They have a really well done web site you can find
HERE . The last entry on their history timeline says They're set to wind back the clock and record for Good Vibrations. We have something to look forward to !
