The Invaders (Designer Genes Ep)

The Invaders were a four piece from Alabama. As far as I know, this was their only record. The web yielded nothing on these guys; and I don't believe this has been comped yet, which is surprising because it's a great record.

Line-Up:

Martin Ross - Vocals, Bass
Edward Reynolds - Vocals, Guitar
Bill Crow - Vocals, Guitar
Mark Reynolds - Drums

Polyester Records 1980

Hi Frank. Thanks for putting the record up on your blog. I was IN that band! My name is Martin Ross Buchanan, and am from Birmingham but now live in North Carolina. Being in The Invaders was such a great time in my life. In hindsight, I didn't know how much fun I was having at the time. This was the only record we ever released, but there was an entire album we recorded but that never made it to vinyl. The tapes were destroyed sometime in the mid to late 80s when Sound of Birmingham Studios closed down. I've been working recently in my home studio, using Logic Pro, to rerecord some of the lost material. Maybe someday I'll do a release.

Hi Martin. Thank you for the info, the music and for your comment. If you ever get around to recording any of the lost material, I'd love to hear it. Thanks again!
