My apologies

As seems to have been the case these last couple of years; I once again find myself apologizing for an extended absence. Unfortunately, my life just doesn't afford me an abundance of time to work on this site anymore. Additionally, for what ever reason; when I do have time, my hearts just not into it. I've been seriously considering selling my record collection, taking the money and buying myself a new Indian motorcycle. As you might imagine; that decision would definitely spell the end for this site and my music collection, as I couldn't and wouldn't be able to replace everything. Even though I've been feeling this way, I still love music. A bit burned out but still in love; which makes it a tough decision. Rather than leave this site hanging around unattended; I'll most likely delete it, if I chose to go that route. It's been hanging by a thread anyway, the last couple of years. For the moment, I'll try my best to post all of the re up requests and maybe a few new ones. We'll see how things go and how I'm feeling. Thanks for all of your comments and support over the years!!

Frank you've been a big inspiration to me; I'd hate to see you stop posting. But if you do, I understand. I do think you should leave the site up though, it's a great little trove of knowledge you've amassed here and it would be a shame to take it away from the rest of us. That's just my opinion though. Namaste!

I have recently found this blog & it has been a great joy to me. I understand how hard it is to maintain a music blog, but I wouldn't love to see this site go away.

Your Life is more important than this, I know this well too. Take your time, enjoy yourself and sometime the desire to post on comes again.

The only solution I see for myself is to somehow make money for all my rip time that could have been spent slamming in a club. So I became buddy buddy with record show sellers and a big chain store in town that had a two major radio station promo collections. From this I went for anything that looked good beyond my normal stuff and viola! a safe full of WAV, zipped RAR with album pics and mp3's and one folder with all rips alphabetical as MP3 for listening (I would use the WAV for making CD's). But when I am done with ten more boxes (long life willing) and when memory devices offer more selection, I would like to sell the whole shebang that someone could buy at Walmart and listen to at leasure without the time searching. More functional rips. We'll have to see how the law allows or if I need to go make them in Thailand or India...we shall see. This is the path I think we need for bloggers who put time in to preserving our history. It's important and are each of us and I thank you Sir and I like your idea of the cycle..very cool..I used to have a small collection of skylight red bikes from the sixties, trail 50 Honda from '63 that I registered as a guest moped, then a trail 90 from '66 that I registered as a motorcyle and then one that folded up from the sixties that went in my trunk. We did stunt jumps with it into my backyard where the driveway ended in a stone wall. Lots O' fun at the annual houseparties

I was just checking out the bikes you mentioned. They look cool. I'll bet you guys had a blast. I'm buying an Indian one way or another. I just have to decide whether to sell my records or make another bill for a couple of years to do it...lol

What you have shared with all of us is just one part of you. Time to nurture the body and soul to re-invigorate all of you. Ohms Law - let resistance go and the energy will flow. Jump on that Indian and go. Stop resisting.
