The Native Tongues - Reaction Records EP

Hey... It's almost Christmas! In case I don't post anything else before then; I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
I couldn't find anything on this one. Steve Granados credited on all songs is the only clue? Not sure if this was a band or one person? At any rate; although a bit amateurish, this is definitely a catchy, slab of power pop. Never go back has a major Jam vibe to it. Enjoy!

Cult Figures - In Love EP

Cult Figures were a Birmingham four piece that formed in 1977. They released two three track EP's before disbanding in 1980. The band reformed in 2016. They released a number of quality EP's and two full lengths before Gary Jones sadly lost his fight with cancer in 2022. If you want to check them out further, here's some links.

The Snapshots - No Jane Single

The Snapshots were a Westchester, N.Y. outfit that were around, (I'm guessing) from the late 70's till 1983. A three piece when this self released effort was recorded, Robert Mag was later added to take over vocal duties. There's a rare stamped paper sleeve that exists. Of course, mine isn't one of them. There was a second release, a flexi given away at shows titled, "Wish me well / Oh Japan" from 1982. Big thanks to the Sing Sing Blog for doing the research on this one back in 2012. If you'd like to read the entire interview, you can find it here.

Dick N The Donuts - Saturday Night

Once this one gets it's hooks in you; it's hard to get it out of your head. Super catchy chorus that will have your head boppin' in no time, plus a sing along on the B side, in case you feel so inclined. There's little info on these guys, other than being from Ontario, Canada. Credits on the record go to Bickerton and Waddington.  My copy is sleeveless, as most appear to be. I borrowed this picture of the sleeve from Discogs, so you can see what it looks like. As always, if any of you have info to share, it's most appreciated. I included Flac and MP3 versions as was suggested.

Brandy - Treating Me Bad Single

Long time no post... Apologies for another long hiatus. I seriously considered shutting down this time. I just don't have the time anymore and storage costs me money every month. Guess we'll see how it goes... Hope all of you had a nice holiday and are having a happy new year! Here's another record that my Google search, yielded little information on. The names on the record are: Andy Da Silva and Brenda Theresa. I'm guessing Brandy comes from combining their first names? Musically, Treating me bad has a British Invasion influence and is definitely the star of the show. It
appears they were Canadian but I'm not sure? Any of you know anything; please share the wealth!!
I tried a couple new things. For one, I included Wave and MP3 formats in the download. I know it's a bigger file and a slower download but I think the quality is worth it. If it's too slow, I guess I can ditch the Wave files. Let me know if you think it's worth it? Secondly, I finally figured out how to post a picture with a transparent background, It's the little things....lol.
