Re-posted, per request, new rips and scans, originally posted 7/20/09, enjoy!!
Excellent first single from New York's The Mod Frames. Both tunes are great 60's influenced Powerpop . I know very little about these guy's so, if anyone has info to share please feel free. Since the sleeve has no info on it, I'm using the second singles line - up; if this is not correct, I apologize.

Line Up -

Ben Rosenblatt - Vocals, Guitar, Piano and Organ
Billy Altman - Vocals and Guitar
Bruce Gordon - Bass and Backing Vocals
David Donen - Drums
Mark Michaels - Guitar

Hit Records 1979

1. Still Smiling Today
2. Little Miss Lonelyheart

I picked up an extremely beat up copy of this 45 awhile back simply because it had the word mod in their name. Never thought I'd see it up on the net.

Thanks for this one!. I don´t know so much about this band, only that they have another single:"Anyone After You" 1981 in the same label.

Just discovered these posts.
I was one of the 2 musicians who founded the Mod Frames. Billy wrote our first single - "Still Smiling Today" - while I wrote our second single "Anyone After You".
Thanks for the kind words! Nice to see that the Frames are still alive...!!
All the best,
Ben (Mod Frames)

It's worth noting that the "Billy" mentioned here is Billy Altman, then the editor of CREEM Magazine. I first heard of The Mod Frames via an ad in CREEM.
