 Here's a Great 4 song EP out of Charlottesville, Virginia. Charlie Pastorfield played with The Skip Castro Band, as well as The Gladstones and The Believers. This Solo effort seems to have been self released. I found another Solo release called "Scenario", from 1986 but I've never heard it.

The Knobs - (Nun / Pretty Little Fingers Single)

The Knobs were a four piece from Bayonne NJ. Looks like this catchy little two sider may have been their only release. I couldn't find much on the band, but below are a few links worth checking out.

Ingemar Bergman Troop (The Modern Girl Single)

Ingemar Bergman Troop were a three piece from Uppsala Sweden. From what I gather, they were actually the Poppier alter ego of a band called Kaipa. It looks as though they released three singles, ( this being the last) and a full length, all on the RCA label.

Aerial FX (First Two Singles)

Aerial FX were a Oxford based five piece that formed around 1980. They released three singles, (the first two represented here) and a full length titled, "Watching The Dance".
   Following the full length, they signed to EMI, however no further releases eventually lead to the bands end around 1986.
   In 2010 Other Voices Records release a LP titled "Same River Twice" which is a collection of various unreleased material.

The Playboys (Nightbus Single)

The Playboys were a UK four piece, (London area maybe?) and it appears that this was their only record. Nightbus is a reggae number, while the flip, (my fav of the two) is a pretty rockin' Powerpop tune.

The Radio Ghosts (Say Hello To The World Of Love EP)

The Radio Ghosts were a Scottish four piece that were around in the early eighties. I can't find much else about them except in 1982 they also released a mini LP titled "Handfuls Of Everything" that I've never heard. I like this record, especially the great Bass lines and choppy, jangly Guitar work on Author.

 This is an Essential early hardcore record from 1980 . If you follow this music I shouldn't have to tell you how great this is . Bad Brains was first founded as a jazz-fusion ensemble called Mind Power (1975), with singer Sid McCray, in the mold of bands such as Chick Corea's Return to Forever and John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra. In 1977, McCray introduced the rest of the band, who were already interested in bands such as Black Sabbath, to punk rock, including the Dickies, the Dead Boys, and the Sex Pistols. Mind Power became obsessed with punk rock and changed their name to "Bad Brains", after the Ramones song "Bad Brain" but with the word "bad" in the sense of "powerful". Despite their burgeoning punk sound, the early Bad Brains also delved deep into reggae music. McCray left in the early days of the group's hardcore-punk era, and guitarist H.R. became the band's singer. In 1979, Bad Brains found themselves the subject of an unofficial ban among many Washington D.C. area clubs and performance venues (later addressed in their song, "Banned in D.C."). The band subsequently relocated to New York City.
Bad Brains broke up and reformed several times over the years, sometimes with different singers and/or drummers. The band's classic and current lineup is singer H.R., guitarist Dr. Know, bassist Darryl Jenifer, and drummer Earl Hudson, H.R.'s younger brother.
